Tyler, the Creator's new Mountain Dew ad has been pulled. The 60-second commercial has been decried as perpetuating racial stereotypes while trivializing violence against women.
Really?
Conservablogger comment: I can show you movie after movie that does both these things. Comedians often tell racially insensitive jokes that use stereotypes as punchlines, but the jokes are funny so they get a pass, right? Some people take themselves too seriously, and this commercial shouldn't have been pulled.
The purpose of this blog is to conseerve the values and ideals that this country (The USA) was founded on. You'll find political commentary here ranging from my disdain for porgressive liberalism to my love of the constitution. Frequent posts will expose factions that are fundamentally transforming America... Beginning with our president.
Conservablogger Power Quote
"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security..."
