I'd love to believe this guy is just a moron, but I have my doubts. Unfortunately, however, many Americans are morons, and will buy this load of crap.
This CA police chief is advancing a politically-targeted-false-narrative that dismisses commonsense. The political-targeted-objective here is to soften public opinions about the right to keep and bear arms.
What's laughable here (or sad as hell) is he uses a juvenile argument tactic: submitting a question in lieu of evidence to support his cockamamie claim.

This is what we're up against, folks. Across the country, more and more politicians are attempting to place gun restrictions on the law-abiding. This is unacceptable!
Is it time to activate and engage your state and local legislators? Indeed, I believe it is. All of us need to get off the sidelines and get in the game. They, the progressive right and left, are running away with our liberty, and running our republic into the ground.
