Is this a recipe for disaster? Take this story, combine it with the new purchases of over a billion Bullets and thousands of light tanks by DHS, coupled with the domestic drone spy program, holder saying the President can tell the military to kill Americans on American soil, without the benefit of a warrent or trial, add in the severe push to eliminate our right to keep and bear arms, and you get a stew ofgovernmental distrust.
In an article on The Blaze today titled, Southern Poverty Law Center Chronicles ‘Explosive’ Rise in Radical Anti-Government ‘Patriot Movement’, we can see an alarming redefining of constitutional patriots.
They identify those of us concerned with the alarming shift in power to the federal government (power grabs that are inconsistant with our Constitution) as being racist like the KKK and the Ayrian Nation!
The Poverty Center article points out that the rise in the number of militias skyrocketed after Obama's 2008 election, implying the rise in militias was due to his ethnic orientation.
-The Southern Poverty Law Center — a left-leaning nonprofit that monitors groups it deems hateful and extremist, including the Ku Klux Klan, New Black Panther Party and Aryan Nation — tracked 1,360 such groups in 2012, up from 1,274 in 2011 and a meteoric surge from 149 in 2008.
That rise, according to the center, is due to the election of Barack Obama as the nation’s first black president and anger over the <--LINKeconomic downturn, and is likely to continue with the White House-led push for more gun control.
“We are seeing a real and rising threat of domestic terrorism as the number of far-right anti-government groups continues to grow at an astounding pace,” Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the center and the author of the report, said in a statement. “It is critically important that the country take this threat seriously. The potential for deadly violence is real, and clearly rising.”
