I don't know the answer to that question, but I wonder.
Today we are witnessing the government’s implementation of a citizen-monitoring police state that has little regard for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I just heard President Obama say the spy program only applies to foreigners. Do you believe that when tens of millions of American Verizon phone records were already gathered?
So, the government had a secret program of collecting every email, phone call, web search and we are supposed to be passive, submissive and approving? I don’t think so.
I think they are nudging us. I think they want the bottom (that's us) to rise up, as in Van Jones’ explained plan for revolution where the top comes down, the bottom rises up, and its turned inside-out.
Will there be American citizens rising up against the unwarranted and unprecedented intrusions into their privacy?
I think we citizens need to be very careful how we react to the illegal actions of our government. Any protest must remain civil and any violence must not be initiated by any of us.
Yes, we should protest, but we can’t let them nudge us into doing anything stupid. This would give them the reason they are looking for to come down on us.
