SPORTS WATCH: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS TO PICK UP TEBOW?

The New York Jets released Tim Tebow today with little pomp or circumstance.

Is this another opportunity for the New Orleans Saints to pick up another rejected and dismissed   quarterback?

I think the Saints could use a good developing back-up QB.   That said, almost everyone would admit Tebow is a saint among players in the NFL given  his history of on field religious  gestures and interview comments.  So, I think Tebow would make a great Saint.

There is something undeniably unifying about Tebow that no team should overlook.  While he's been the brunt of much criticism over the past few years for his faith displays, he still stands strong living his convictions, and what's wrong with that?

So, Saints, if you have an ounce of courage, offer Tebow a deal.  I have a sneaky suspicion that your team just might be blessed.

RUSH:  It's about a family that have become multimillionaires in the duck-calling business.  These guys make the -- quack, quack -- things that hunters use to call ducks.  They're the Stradivarius of duck calls, and they have made multiple millions, and there's a reality TV show about these people, and it's called Duck Dynasty.  I was reading about it. I haven't seen an episode yet.  Well, I take it back.  I did watch 10 minutes of an episode this morning 'cause I read a story about how it is cleaning up in the ratings.  It's wiping everything out, Duck Dynasty.  And the episode I watched, folks, I'm sorry -- he-he-he-he -- I don't know.  I've gotta take a break.  I don't have enough time to go into it now, but I will.  I am not ducking it.

RUSH:    Duck Dynasty.  If you know Duck Dynasty, you know America.  Duck Dynasty is cable's top-rated reality series this year.  It beat the finale of American Idol, and it is the number two original series overall behind The Walking Dead.  Now, I can't tell the difference.  Only kidding.


RUSH:   Just to wrap up this Duck Dynasty business, Duck Dynasty, the highest rated show on TV Wednesday night, all TV.  Highest rated.  Not just cable.  Its numbers were bigger than Survivor on CBS, bigger than American Idol on Fox, and the numbers weren't even close.  Duck Dynasty.  If you haven't seen it, when you do watch it -- I downloaded about eight episodes. I'm flying out of town today and I may watch some on the airplane.  Well, hey, this is a big show.  I gotta get in on it.  I watched 10 minutes of an episode today where one of the stars is teaching his daughter to parallel park in what looks like the town dump, and they're using garbage cans as the parking space.

There's six or seven guys on a concrete restraining wall watching, chewing and spitting tobacco, making jokes about her inability to parallel park and making jokes about the father, who is the star of the show, trying to teach her.  You watch this and you won't know whether its ratings are high because people relate to it or they're laughing at it.  You won't know.  It's on the A&E network, Arts & Entertainment.  Now, The Walking Dead is on AMC.  You know, A&E, Arts & Entertainment, was supposed to be like a PBS, very, very highbrow.

The father, just so you know, for those of you who are gonna take time and watch this show, Duck Dynasty, the father of the Duck Dynasty family, they're multimillionaires.  Let me tell you something.  I have watched episodes of the Real Housewives, and that's just as, if not more so.  Mr. Snerdley, it's show prep, yes.  I've not watched whole seasons.  I get scared watching this stuff.  I mean, you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County, New York, and you find out that there are people who do not know anything about what's going on in this country, and they don't care.

Rush is sorely mistaken to lump Duck Dynasty in with the likes of Real Housewives.  Let me explain.

First of all, with Duck Dynasty, you'll never hear any bleeping out of cuss words because these folks are respectable Christians who don't talk like that. 2.  At the end of each episode, the family is seated around the dinner table where the Father, Phil, says a meal blessing. 3.  The voice of Willie is heard giving a life-lesson, related to the show's content.  4.  At the end of Last season, Phil told the A&E producers, whom in the first season edited out his "In Jesus name" part of the dinner  blessings, that he would not renew their A&E  contract unless this 'anti-Jesus' editing stopped.

I live in West Monroe, Louisiana where this show is filmed, and I have it on good authority that my report here is accurate.

When Rush described the guys as sitting on a retaining wall "spitting tobacco", that is not true.  They don't do that.  This is a very good, upright family who lives principals of liberty.  They do romanticize things somewhat, but Rush should really watch entire episodes before rendering his opinion.

This is one of those rare occasion when EL-Rushbo is a low-information pundit.

INCREDIBLE! BOSTON MANHUNT MAY BE SANITATION OPERATION

The theory being put forth by Alex Jones and some of his radio show callers is that the manhunt isn't really to find the 'supposed' second bombing suspect, but to exterminate the operatives of a spoiled plan designed to incriminate 'tea party' types.

How many law enforcement officials does it take to find one individual.  Is there any video footage of the supposed car chase?  Why has media been prohibited from filming anything, at the risk of being arrested, beyond the barricades?

Something is really fishy here.

The MA state police just gave city residence the all clear, that they could stop sheltering in place because they believe the 19 year old suspect got away, though they don't know how.

Okay, suppose this is a huge conspiracy.  Given the treatment of the Boston suburb, effectively declaring martial law, are we to expect this kind of treatment in various cities across America as they "supposedly"  track the suspect across the country?

Can we expect this guy to be targeted with drones as he sits in a cafe' drinking coffee?  Will there be an acceptable collateral damage percentage?

Here's a question:  Since this is all anyone in the media  is talking about, what is not being covered?

Suspect #2 was captured.  Tonight, at the press conference that paraded out all the top federal, state and local law enforcement, they  patted themselves on the back as they announced that Boston and nearby Watertown areas coulld rest easy.

After that, they had a Q & A session.  One question in particular  was avoided (that I heard).  A reporter wanted to know why the  suspect went to MIT? 

Another interesting question was asked that made a couple officials visibly nervous.  He asked about an exemption of the suspects Miranda Rights.  The Federal Attorney was prompted to answer that question and she said it is true.  Certain suspects, in a national emergency or a terrorist attack, Miranda rights can be suspended.  Isn't it nice to know the federal government already has a mechanism in place to suspend our citizen's Constitutional rights to?

Another interesting observation - suspicion - I noted on NBC was a woman on the street applauding the public servants as they drove past after catching the suspect.  There was a crowd of folks applauding  them, but an NBC  reporter picked out one to ask some questions.

Because of the words the woman spoke, I believe she was an NBC plant.  One statement that caught my attention was they "were applauding because the (public servants) government  protected us". 

Everyone who has half a brain knows NBC is on board with Obama's Gun Control agenda.  The propaganda here was 1.  The Government will protect us.  2.  Since the government can do such a great protection  job, we have no need to want to protect ourselves.  3.  Obama is awesome.

According to a BuzzFeed source, Joe Biden told gun control “stakeholders” via conference call on Thursday that the fight against the Second Amendment is not over and additional laws will be imposed on firearms owners. 

“Look, I know you’re going to say that I’m just being an optimist and I’m trying to put a good face on this. But, you know, I’ve been around here a long time and we’ve already done, because of you, some really good things,” Biden said. “Number one, the president is already lining up some additional executive actions he’s going to be taking later this week.”

“Already we have put out notifications to all communities that if they want school resource officers to use their portion of the COPS grant to be able to deal with a school resource officer or someone in the school who’s a counselor, or whatever they need,” Biden continued.

The rat-bastards (as described by Alex Jones) refuse to let go of the gun control bone!  They are hell bent on taking away our individual right and ability to defend and protect ourselves, as well as the Constitution. WHAT WAS INSIDE THE PRESSURE COOKERS?

This is an 'uneducated' and uninformed theory as to the explosives contained within the Boston pressure cookers.

How about Claymore mines or C4?  The kill radius, if I remember correctly,  is 50 meters to the front in a 60 degree fan.  Projectiles from the Claymore are effective at 150 meters and can travel as far as 250 m.

 Claymores are curved.  One would fit nicely against the rearmost wall of a 5qt. pressure cooker, with the concave-face facing toward victims.  That said,  there is a direction that is faced toward the enemy, 'the target', and if the pressure cookers contained claymores as well as projectiles packed in front of them, ball bearings would be found as well as nails, tacks, brads etc... because claymores themselves are filled with steel balls.   These added projectiles would create more casualties.

This is just a thought.

Now if, by chance,  claymores were used in the pressure cookers, how did a civilian(s) get their hands on them? 

Claymores use a plastic explosive, and the explosion I saw on film looks like a plastic explosion to me.

The M18A1  uses the compound 'C4'.  It is a fragment device and each one contains 700 steel balls.

Just a thought.

Here's a video of the Claymore in use.  There are several explosions in this video, filmed at a distance.  Check out the last one.  It is the closest.  You can see the yellow-white blast-plume, just like that at the Boston Marathon.  Now that I've thought about it more, it probably wasn't a Claymore, but it sure appeared to be C4 that detonated. Compare this to the next video below of the Pressure cooker bomb in Boston.

Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

 

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

 

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

That's right!  It appears that private  medical information is no longer kept between patient and doctor in New York state.  How else could the state discover who is, and who isn't on anti-anxiety drugs?

Now, the state police are revoking permits and taking the firearms of  law abiding citizens, without due process. 

This is total CRAP!  Fascism is alive and well in New York, and it's only a matter of time before this sort of thing happens in other states.  I think New York is the test bed for this sort of policy.  If there is no major push back, liberal (Progressive) governors  will be off to the races with their own confiscations.

REPORT: N. KOREA CLEARS MILITARY TO NUKE THE USA

PAJU, South Korea - North Korea warned early Thursday that its military has been cleared to attack the U.S. using "smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear" weapons, while the U.S. said it was strengthening protection in the region and seeking to defuse the situation.

Well, it finally happened.  Sitemeter has finally bit the dust.

Is it true?

From what I can see, it is.

Today, I awoke to check my site stats and found a strange alien of a website appear in front of me in the place my site statistics should have been.

Yesterday, as I tried checking my stats, nothing would appear.  Today it's crap that appears.  

It is now a freaky-new-sitemeter search tool.

I guess it goes to show that free services will fall by the way side.  After all, money talks and bull-crap walks, right?

Seriously, I think Sitemeter has thrown in the towel.  The new site that appears is much too finished to be a mistake.

So, what are folks like me to do?  I checked my stats frequently to see what search terms were being used and what entry pages were being used.  Now, I'm left in the dark.

But, alas, I use blogger and it has a stat service I can look at, although it doesn't do a very good job at displaying 'today' stats.

I'm deeply saddened and depressed that Sitemeter has seemed to fold.  Maybe a new company will step in to fill the new found void in stat counter services.

What are your thoughts?
