Thank You, Fox, for Reading Declaration of Independence prior to Superbowl

At a time when President Obama himself omits words from the reading of our founding document, I appreciate Fox for celebrating it, and for reminding all of us why we are free.

Yes, I have heard the president, himself, refer to the Declaration of Independence and omit the “endowed by their creator” phrase. He simply skipped right over it… and it infuriated me.


I was incensed because I know his idea of the origins of our rights is different from mine. Our rights come from God, therefore only He can take them away. Obama would have us forget that fact and allow us to understand that government grants us our rights… and you know what that means.


So, Fox, thanks for reminding Americans of the place from which our nation was formed.
