Conservablogger Power Quote

Van Jones: In October "Hold onto your Seats" as Progressives Fight Back

Former Obama Green Jobs Czar says, in the spirit of the Arab Spring, we're going to be seeing the "American Fall... The American Autumn".

He's putting something together called "The American Dream Movement" that he says is their answer to the TEA Party.

Jones calls the national deficit "...phony, made up".

When Jones talks about the banks that received the financial stimuli should start paying us back, he thinks we forgot it was our President (his buddy) is the dude who gave it to them!

The Tea Party would not have bailed those banks out.

Our government created the housing bubble by mandated high-risk-loans (sub prime). This means they were forced (by government regulation) to give loans to people with bad credit; because everyone should be able to buy a nice house, right?

The vast majority of our fiscal and economic problems including unemployment is a direct result of government interference with the free market.

As planned,  Jones and his Progressive-puke-counterparts are using our current situation to cause the bottom to "rise up", as in his "top down, bottom up and inside out" plan for revolution.

This next election, for our republic's sake, we have to vote all the progressives out of office and replace them with constitutional conservatives.

NC Governor Suggests we 'Suspend Elections'

The Congressional Democrats are wildly unpopular in North Carolina, so North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue may have been trying to invent a solution to save their jobs from public accountability.”

Read why her comments made me think of NSPD-51 (A Bush Presidential Directive from 2007)  BELOW.

Conservablogger Comment:
NC isn't the only place Democrats are wildly unpopular.  I know at least a dozen folks who are finally understanding how much damage is being done to our Republic by Progressive Democrats who are in bed with Unions and socialists.

Those dozen people have converted to either independent, or Republican.

The above comments made by this no-good democrat caused me to recall NSPD-51.

President Bush, on May 9,2007 signed The "National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive,"  that granted near dictatorial powers to the office of the president in the event of a national emergency declared by the president.

The directive steals away the checks and balances of Congress, and gives that ultimate authority  to a presidential appointee.  They have the power to "SUSPEND ELECTIONS"!

Through this decree, the president becomes king-like and has power over all commerce, pubic and private, all communications (including the internet), and impose martial law utilizing foreign FEMA troops.

Don't believe me?  Look it up.  The link to it is above.

So,  all the president needs is an event  he can deem 'catastrophic' and HE'S FINALLY IN CHARGE!

And, with his questionable ties to Marxists, communists, globalists, socialists, and George Soros, this frightens me.

OBAMA’S BLUNDER: MISSING LIBYAN SURFACE TO AIR MISSILES"

Published on DickMorris.com on September 27, 2011 is an article titled, "OBAMA’S BLUNDER: MISSING LIBYAN SURFACE TO AIR MISSILES".

I would like to give the benefit of the doubt to the President, but I can't. His failure of leaderlship has flipped control of Lybia to folks who don't like America. Now they could be armed with heat-seeking surface to air missiles capable of taking out an airliner at a range of 2 miles.

Mr. President, instead of pushing for Mob Rule with that so called 'Arab Spring', you should have been trying to stabelize the area.

Didn't you consider who might take the Lybian leadership mantle once Muammar Gaddafi was out?

What might happen happens now if terrorists go ahold of these missiles?  Do we set up a defensive perimeter for a 5 mile radius around all US airports?  You can hire alot of union workers for that huh?

Maybe you knew Lybia's army and the Muslim Brotherhood would take hold there.  Maybe you knew destablizing the area would mean higher risks to us over here.  Maybe you hoped for these things would come to pass:  I don't know, but it sure is weird how everything you do has the "unintended consequences".

According to the Morris post, those terroristscan simply sit in a boat with the 55 pound weapon, and they'll be able to  shoot down airliners as they make approaches to JFK airport.

This is not good. The president is failing us with his lack of leadership.

Sharia Creeping into Georgia Middle School Education

Although this shouldn't surprise anyone, IT HAS TO STOP!

There is much to be said of parents who pay attention to what their kids are learning in public schools.

I'm glad this crap is now public knowledge.

If they want to teach our kids how to act, how about teaching the 10 commandments and why its important for Americans to respect and follow them.  Maybe our schools should be teaching the Golden Rule.  This rule could be taught in a secular way:  No one has to say this idea came from God.  They could say its the American way to treat others the way we want to be treated.

NPR Accusing the Tea Party of Standing in the Way of Obama's Progress - Do Ya Think?!

Today I overheard a NPR commentator say that the Tea Party was standing in the way of the president’s American Jobs Act; keeping people out of work.

The reason for this is because with the Tea Party, we faithfully have folks in congress representing ‘we the people’. and they know the presidents so-called American Job Act is a pile of crap! A more accurate name might be: The Line the pockets of Unions, and Bankrupt America Act.

He wants to put people to work alright. He doesn’t want to stimulate the free market in a positive way to create private sector jobs; he wants to throw money at road and bridge companies, which are union jobs.

Roads and bridges will employ union workers, and won’t increase the treasury. They aren’t self sustaining jobs that pay for themselves, they are jobs the government has to support.

Sure, those workers might be working, but how much will each job cost tax payers?

Private sector jobs on the other hand don’t cost us tax payers anything. In fact, if the Obama administration would spend less time and money creating crappy, anti-business regulations, private businesses would be better able to create jobs.

What this country needs is MORE TEA PARTY folks in offices. We need to take our nation back from the radical-socialist-progressives that have manages to sleeze themselves into power… they are destroying our nation!

Yes, some services will have to be CUT! Maybe some revenue will have to be raised… or our tax system revised, but for sure cuts have to be made.

If your household is trying to keep from going bankrupt, you don’t go out and borrow a year’s worth of income to pay your bills, you cut your spending and pay down your debts!

So, when the tea party talks about cutting, they are talking about the common-sense-recourse that will save our failing economy… that, and get government out of the way of enterprise.

Communities will have to step in and be of help to others. We are going to have to get through this together. But vilifying the only people who want to save our republic, the tea party, is doing our nation a disservice.

People who say the tea party is the problem, really mean the tea party is tossing a monkey wrench into their plans, and they can’t stand it.

So what they are doing is trying to turn “Tea Party” into a bad word.

They call us racists; untrue. They call us uncaring; untrue. They lie and distort the truth which is to fundamentally change America … closer to their heart’s desire.

Look at what progressives have done to Detroit. Look at what progressive policies have done to any City over a period of time. Progressive policies destroy jobs, they destroy dream, and they are destroying our national economy.

It’s not the Tea Party. It’s our current administration!

Conservablogger - Thoughts on the Fox News / Google Republican Debate Thursday

Thursday’s evening republican debate was interesting.
front runners, Perry and Romney (I feel) came off as boring and calculated. I did not feel their commitment to following the constitution.

I was dissappointed when the Youtube chat window quit working during the debate.  I was ready to cheer and jeer, but sadly, was unable.  So, here are my thoughts:

Ron Paul’s remarks stuck out the most for me, because he spoke of the constitution as something he thinks our nation has been violating. I believe he is right, and I think if he were President, he would fix a lot of what is wrong.

Michele Bachman was also strong. She spoke of constitutional conservatism, and I could sense her passion and dedication to those principals.

I think a great ticket would be Paul and Bachman., or Newt Gingrich and Bachman.

I don’t like Gingrich because he has been connected with the politics of our nation for some time and has, in some way, helped get us here.

Newt spoke of a new contract with America that he plans on introducing next Thursday. I think Newt was probably the most intelligent person in the room.

John Huntsman had a great moment when he spoke of his neighbors two dogs creating more shovel ready jobs than Obama has.

All the candidates had a chance to voice how they would change things.

Herman Cain spoke of a 9-9-9 plan. 9 percent income tax, 9 percent sales tax and 9 percent corporate tax. This seems a lot better than what we have now.

Herman also spoke of the lack of leadership in the White House and standing up for Israel.  Here are his remarks where he says, "if you mess with Israel, you mess with the USA.."

Rick Santorum said Obama is the new King George III.  That he (Obama) thinks he can tell people what to do from on high. Here's the video of what he said:

Each candidate had moments. I didn’t care for Perry or Romney. These guys are too spit and polished… to much of the type of Republicans that leads us in the same direction as liberals… accept maybe a little slower.

We need an extreme candidate for these extreme times.

So far, I have to say, I like Ron Paul.

Law Enforcement 'Stingray' Cell Phone Tracker fuels Constitutional Debate

Today's LINK--> Wall Street Journal is reporting that federal law enforcement is using a device called a 'stingray' to track citizens, whether or not their phones are in use.

Additionally, GPS devices are being placed on new cars that also enable the Federal Government to track their owners.

Now, you might ask, "what's the harm in that?'

I say the Fourth Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures applies to our cars, phones and conversations.  We can't allow the government to chip away at our constitutionally guaranteed rights.
The government craves power, and gets its power from us.  We need to put a stop to this.  If the government is allowed to ignore our constitution, and we condone it, don't be surprised when YOU are the one being prosecuted or persecuted.

Texas Straw Poll Cancelled - Ron Paul Cheated?

Have you heard that following Ron Paul's victory of Californias Strawpoll that the Texas straw poll has been cancelled?

Why?  The cited reason for the cancellation is "Lack of Interest by the candidates".

Some Paul suporters, however, are suggesting some underhandedness may be underway, that it was actually killed because the Congressman would have inflicted an embarrassing defeat on Governor Rick Perry in his own state.

And the powers that be surely do not want a guy like Ron Paul getting more positive press than their "chosen one"!

I say, THIS IS CRAP!

I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but when I hear "Republican" leaning press pundits on Fox News holding up Romney and Perry as the best/most popular choices, I notice.

I'm the kind of voter who wants to hear debates.  I'm glad I found out about Perry's inside deal with the pharmaceutical company.  I'm glad I know Romney signed into law the very same-type-healcare system (at state level) that America was force-fed (against our will by the radical left and Obama ) in 2009.

We need a new thinker in office whose integrity can't be bought!  If that is a guy like Ron Paul, so be it!  He may sometimes say things that seem "out there", but when I really listen to what he says, I start thinking he might be the extreem guy who is right for these extreem times.

Conservablogger's Opinion of GBTV Episode 1 & 2

Blog Review of GBTV First Episodes:

GBTV kicked off its first episode Monday and I was not disappointed!

From the beginning Beck directed my attention to stories that mainstream isn’t covering.

In his first episode, in true Beck fashion, we learned history that has been erased.  85 years ago in New York City there was an explosion so powerful it was felt in Baltimore. Beck uses the fact that none of us ever heard this story, as an example of how history can be erased, and then retold at a later date in such a way that it suit’s political purposes.

Beck Showed us how the "Black Tom" incident's official story (history) was changed, then used.

Beck then pointed to  how the official 9/11 narrative has already changed in just 10 years. This point was quite compelling.

In the first show, Beck noted how New York’s Mayor made Ground Zero a “Clergy Free Zone” (didn‘t want to offend anyone), and how they “didn’t have room for first responder American heros”. Beck then pointed out lots of space where 9/11 first responders could have stood.

Beck took a moment of his time to have both Clergy and first responders on his show, and allowed a Bishop (I think) to give a prayer. This was very nice.

Tuesday’s show was equally riveting.

Beck‘s infamous chalkboard had a good workout.. It is cool…. You should see it.

Beck said he is committed to truth (like it or not), hope, and solutions.

Among many subjects covered, Beck spoke of us viewers in terms of being the ones who will be prepared, and the ones who will be a help to others.

Beck warned that difficult times are coming. Radicals, revolutionaries, communists, and socialists, are coming together to change the world. Sadly, some of these nefarious characters are in our own government.

Beck suggested we prepare to share., he said if and when the system collapses; if (or when) serious budget cuts cause severe cuts   in services, and lots of people lose their jobs... when union thugs and revolutionaries take to the streets, we have to be prepared to help our neighbors!  Helping our neighbors will help this situation.  Beck stressed we can't get amgry.  They want us to get angry and lash out.  Beck insists that we maintain control by preparing.

Now, I embellished what Beck was saying, but it’s along those lines. He did say, “Prepare to share”. He did say, “Prepare to help your neighbors.”

Beck also said we should read. He encouraged his viewers to read about leaders who are known for being peaceful. Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Moses or Jesus. Learn how they overcame so much.
Beck also encouraged us to love and serve our fellow Americans.

I’m excited about Beck’s new show. It is Better than when he was on Fox. I highly recommend that you tune him in.

Go to GBTV.COM and check it out.

Note: I do not personally know Glenn Beck, and none of the material in this post is endorsed by Beck…. But, I AM ENDORSING HIS SHOW!

One more thing. I wonder what Fox News thinks of having a major block of viewers turning Fox off at 5pm.

Who are they that fight for our freedom?

The following text appeared in my inbox today.  After reading it, I knew I had to share it.

Please, do the same.
-------------

The average age of the military man is 19 years.
He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who,
under normal circumstances is  considered by

society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's, but he has never collected unemployment either.
He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away.  He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz or swing and a 155mm howitzer.
He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting
from before dawn to well after dusk. He has
trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must.
He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional.
He can march until he is told to stop,
or stop until he is told to march.
He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity.
He is self-sufficient.
He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry.
He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle.. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts.
If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low..
He has learned to use his hands like weapons
and weapons like they were his hands.
He can save your life - or take it, because that is his job.
He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.
He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.
He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed..
He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away ' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking.
In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.
Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom. Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.
He has asked nothing in return, except
our friendship and understanding.
Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.
And now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so.
As you go to bed tonight, remember this shot. . ...
A short lull, a little shade and a picture of
loved ones in their helmets.
Prayer wheel for our military...
Prayer Wheel
'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

The President's 'Next' Big Speech - Hooray!

I'm holding my breath waiting for the President's next 'Big' speech.

How many speeches has he given in the past 2 years?

What can he say?  What will he say?  Will what he says be an ACTUAL plan this time, or will it be just a bunch of empty words like the rest of his speeches?

He says he worries about jobs all the time.  Jobs are his top priority!  I say,  Government and UNION JOBS  are his top priority.  That's why his  speech tonight (as in previous speeches) will talk about 'investing' in infrastructure.  That's code for 'MORE GOVERNMENT (TAX PAYER) SPENDING!

He's probably going to give us some ancedotal story about an unemployed  'worker' who is tired of partisian politics.  That story will be a bunch of bull; protraying Obama as being 'above' partisian bickering.  He's going to then tell the right they need to compromise.

I say if the compromise doesn't fix anything, there shouldn't be one!

I for one am tired of Obama's speeches.  If he has a plan, put it out there!  Give it to congress!  Why have another speech?

I believe Obama wants to ensure the world hears him as he uses the nations most important  stage, the Floor of Congress,  to make a campaign speech.

What do you think?

Carney gets Drilled about Hoffa Remarks at Presidential Rally (video) and Hoffa's Remark's video

ABC Newsman Jake Tapper isn't pleased with  the President's silence on Jimmy Hoffa's incendiary comments made at the Labor Day event in Detroit. Watch Jake go toe-to-toe with PressSecretary Carney.

What were Hoffa's Remarks?  Watch Hoffa's second Video below!

These are the people that Obama represents.  He isn't representing people who want to preserve our republic.  Obama isn't interested in preserving the republic either.  Look at who his friends are, and I'll show you the future he wants for America.

We have to defeat Obama in the next election.  It is imperative that we get a TEA PARTY type in the White House this time around.

Newt Gingrich Campaign Letter Blasts Obama's Socialist Administration

The subject line of this email reads:  "Class Warfare and Bureaucratic Socialism Fail Again"
I'm glad Gingrich recognizes the Obama administration for what it is.    I think what Newt needs to do is define what this administration is for African-Americans.   Gingrich should spell out to this demographic how such a socialist government can keep a people repressed; robbing dignity as well as liberty.

Here's the letter:

"Dear Daniel,
Zero jobs created in August. No relief for the 25 million who are unemployed, underemployed or who have given up looking for work.
And the president thinks he’s “frustrated?“
As we mark Labor Day, this bad news is especially poignant, but it’s also not surprising.
Stagnant economic growth is the inevitable result of President Obama’s commitment to class warfare and bureaucratic socialism.
The president routinely demonizes successful Americans, arguing they need to be punished with higher taxes.
Is it any wonder that entrepreneurs are hesitant to invest, create new wealth and jobs?
This administration has issued one job killing regulation after another.
Laws like Obamacare and Dodd-Frank are so complex and confusing that businesses can’t predict their costs for the coming years.
With so much uncertainty, is it any wonder businesses aren’t hiring?
There is a better way – a proven way.
As a junior congressman, I worked with Jack Kemp and Ronald Reagan to develop and then pass the Kemp-Roth tax cuts. And rather than casting successful Americans as the enemy of working Americans, Ronald Reagan praised the American entrepreneur as the cornerstone of our country’s success.
The result was an unprecedented economic boom that created 25 million new jobs.
To put the difference between the Reagan Recovery and the continued Obama Depression in visual terms, here is a chart comparing the results of Reagan’s Kemp-Roth tax cuts and Obama’s big government stimulus:

Real leadership doesn’t inherit a bad economy. It fixes it.
As Speaker of the House, remembering the success of Ronald Reagan’s policies, I led a bipartisan coalition that cut taxes, reduced regulations and reformed government.
The result was a drop in the unemployment rate to 4.2% from 5.4%. We also balanced the federal budget for the first time in twenty years.
Today, my Jobs and Prosperity Plan, introduced during the first week of my candidacy, is modeled after the same Reagan/Contract with America playbook: lower taxes, deregulation, and more American energy.
On Thursday, we will get to hear the president’s plan to get us out of the mess he helped create.
We will find out whether he has learned from history and given up his commitment to class warfare and bureaucratic socialism in favor of liberating American entrepreneurs to do what they do best – create jobs.
Either way, I want you to know that I will continue offering leadership now, advocating for the right policies now for job creation now.
That is my commitment to America. And I want to thank you for standing with me.
Your friend,

Newtsignature"

Questions Raised over Obama's Social Security Number

Wind.com is reporting a disturbing story involving Obama's social security number and  whether or not it is valid.

The case at hand was filed against the Social Security Administration because Obama's number indicates a Connecticut residency, yet there is no evidence he ever lived in the state. He claims he grew up in Hawaii and apparently had a Social Security Number there, as he reported he worked in a Honolulu ice-cream shop.

The Judge in the case, Royce Lamberth, concluded that there's no real interest in determining whether the Obama Social Security Number is genuine or fraudulent, arguing that the need for privacy for the president trumps all else.

CONSERVABLOGGER COMMENT:

I wonder if the reporters who uncovered and exposed Nixon's Watergate were fed this kind of garbage.

We the People have a need (a responsibility)  to know the truth. If there is nothing to hide by the administration, why block investigations? This is serious stuff, I know. But, just because he is the President, doesn't mean he is above the law!

Our Constitution says to be eligible for the presidency, he would have to be a natural born citizen. There are valid reasons to suspect his birth certificate, and now his social security number should be questioned. This judge is wrong for halting the investigation into the social security administrations records.

I'm not even going to ask where the media is on this.
