Conservablogger Power Quote

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security..." Are we on the path to Despotism? See the Video and Decide

Read the statement in the header of this blog.

That quotation comes from Our Declaration of Independence.  The writers acknowledged the tyranny that reduced the population to despotism, and that it was the desire, the duty, and the right of the people to cast aside such rule.

I am not advocating a revolution of a physical nature.  I'm advocating an awakening of your patriotism for your kid's, and your grand kid's future.  What kind of nation do you want tto leave them?

Do you want your grandkids growing up in a nation where the government can dictate every aspect of their lives?  Do you believe they should be free and unencumbered by a tyrannical government?

Keeping those questions in mind, what path do you think our nation is on?

Watch this film from 1946 entitled, "Despotism" that describes why despotism increases and decreases.

The minute I saw this, the guy reminded me of Glenn Beck.  See if you can tell me why.

This is fascenating.  The guy describes affairs concerning agriculture, education, control of industry, concentration of power, lack of jobs and how they increase or decrease despotism.

What path are we on?  Just watch:

Send Your Obamacare Opinion to the Supreme Court: Sign the Pledge

From the conservablogger inb0x-

"Fellow Patriot,
Today, the Supreme Court of the Untied States begins to hear oral arguments in the cases challenging ObamaCare.

We want you to help us send a message to the Court as they prepare to weigh in on ObamaCare's constitutionality.

The Supreme Court is not immune to what happens outside the courtroom. They're aware that ObamaCare is deeply unpopular with the American people, as disapproval of the law has consistently remained above 50%. And they're aware of important votes in Missouri and Ohio, where the citizens of those states emphatically and unambiguously rejected the individual mandate to purchase health insurance that is a centerpiece of both the law and the constitutional challenges to it.

Today, while the Justices of the Supreme Court are hearing the beginning of oral arguments, you can send another message.

You've already made a statement by signing the People's Promise at
TheRepealPledge.com. In it, you declared just how important the principles of the Pledge are to you — that you believe ObamaCare must be repealed as soon as possible. Help us make another statement by reaching out to five friends who share your values. Ask them to sign the People's Promise at TheRepealPledge.com today."

I just did!

Eric Holder - The Dirt Bag Fast & Furious Suggested he was

Why do I say dirt bag?  In my opinion, anyone who manipulates children's minds to advance an anti-american Agenda is a serious dirt bag.

In light of the following video, would you put it past him to concoct a program like Fast and Furious to further his desire of undermining the Second Amendment?

This administration has trampled most of the constitution, and I believe it was his intention to see his dastardly goal  to its fruition:  A disarmed America.

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Obama: U.S. Active Duty can't Speak at Faith Based Functions?

From the in-box of Conservablogger

Disclaimer:  I can't attest to the accuracy of the information contained in the following e-mail I received tonight.

"Something you'll want to be aware of: Sent by Retired Vice Admiral Bob Scarborough, of Arlington , VA. "I wanted to give you all some disturbing information on our wonderful president. I work with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which provides hunting and fishing trips to children with life-threatening illnesses. This past weekend we had our annual banquet/fundraiser event in Starkville .. We had scheduled Sgt.

1st Class Greg Stube to come; he's a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret and inspirational speaker who was severly injured while deployed overseas and didn't have much of a chance for survival. Greg is stationed at Ft. Bragg , NC and received permission from his commanding officer to come speak at our function. Everything was on go until Obama made a policy that NO US. SERVICE MAN CAN SPEAK AT ANY FAITH-BASED PUBLIC EVENTS anymore. Needless to say, Greg had to cancel his speaking event with us. Didn't know if anyone else was aware of this new policy.

You're just starting to see the Obamanation. This is just how the Nazis did it in the 1930's--slowly, one step at a time. This should be forwarded to everyone regardless of party affiliation. We have lost 50% of our freedom of speech in the last 2 years. The news media is not allowed to print anything negative about this evil Obama."

Conservablogger Comments:
Now, from what you know about this radical president, Could this be true?  Let me say, I would not be surprised.

This is something for you to look into.

I have also heard that in military funerals, when the officer hands the folded flag to the widow, he no longer says, "...from a grateful nation and the president of the united states."

The regulation was  changed to "...from a grateful nation and" ...someone else.

Any thoughts?  Leave a comment.

Audio - Glenn Beck: Federal Government now Targeting the Family Farm

Audio below...

The audio is from the Glenn Beck program that aired on GBTV March 15, 2012.

I don't normally  post content that I don't have the right to post, but I  am passionate about your need to hear this monologue.  It is one of the most powerful and passionate expressions of conservatism - of traditional Americanism - I have ever heard.

If you listen to this, and you find you can't palpitate  truth here, I'm sorry I wasted your time, but you should know the story isn't simply about regulations  harming small farms.  Beck points out how the regulations  will have far reaching (planned) consequences.

When I was a kid, I used to watch the cartoon, "Superfriends".  There was almost always some evil madman plotting to dominate  the world.

That said, the actions of the current administration  remind me of such men.

I have to tell you:  I have completely turned off mainstream news.  The only news I feel I can trust is on GBTV.com and TheBlaze.com.

That said,  I think once  YOU  start getting the truth from GBTV.com shows like, "Real News from The Blaze" (A truly informative nightly news program that doesn't tell lies), and The Glenn Beck Program,  you'll swear off mainstream too.

If you don't already subscribe to GBTV, it's not expensive.  He has a free 2 week trial and shows are archived so you can watch them on your own time.

Go to http://gbtv.com and try it out.

Why Progressives Twist the Truth

While contemplating a title for this post, I considered something along the lines of, "The Problem the Left has with Religion", and that would have pointed to what I wanted to say, but it would have left so much unsaid.

The fact is, the left loves to preach to others, but when it comes to the Gospel, they shut everyone down.

Why?

Why remove the Ten Commandments and all references to God and Jesus from courthouses and schools?

After a little thought, and after listening to this President dictate mandates that go beyond those public places;  into  religious institutions, I  arrived at only one conclusion:

This government can't allow any authority to be more powerful than its own.

Think about the implications of this simple statement.

If God has no authority, or at least lacks the authority to be the grantor of our  self evident truths, are those truths unalienable?

I contend they are not.

The right to life, for instance.  A "woman's right to choose,", is the removal of a child's right to life.
Right to liberty:  Since the passage of the NDAA, 2012 signed  during the New Year holiday, the 4th  Amendment has been virtually wiped out.  The first amendment has had a huge hole punched into it with the government mandate for religious institutions to go against their conscience - by supplying contraceptives even when it is against their morals.

The Pursuit of happiness:  Do we really have this right?   I contend that when the government tells people, "You are not entitled to your principals" that this right is gone too.

Now, how have they gotten away this erosion of our freedom?

They started pandering to people.   They began rolling a snowball.  They convinced people that the easy way was the right way; that is is better to get a hand out, than a hand up.

Before long, more and more people had their hands out;  out to the government.

Then, as the system grew to feed these, efforts were made in schools to squash any teaching that God  oesn't approve of simple handouts.

I think this pleased many people who liked the idea that they didn't have to feel guilty were living off of the sweat of other people's brows.

You see, by removing God's authority in schools, the government  (in this example) made its authority greater than God's.

Now, it is way out of control.  Not only is government robing from Peter to pay Paul, it is now going to decide who does and does not get healthcare.  It can pick you up off the streets without just cause and hold you indefinately without charge in an undisclosed detention center.  The president even has the authority to sanction hits on people.

This is in defiance of the "Thou shalt not kill" commandment.

I'll stop here with this post.  I have to go walk my dog.
