"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security..." The New York Jets released Tim Tebow today with little pomp or circumstance.

Is this another opportunity for the New Orleans Saints to pick up another rejected and dismissed   quarterback?

I think the Saints could use a good developing back-up QB.   That said, almost everyone would admit Tebow is a saint among players in the NFL given  his history of on field religious  gestures and interview comments.  So, I think Tebow would make a great Saint.

There is something undeniably unifying about Tebow that no team should overlook.  While he's been the brunt of much criticism over the past few years for his faith displays, he still stands strong living his convictions, and what's wrong with that?

So, Saints, if you have an ounce of courage, offer Tebow a deal.  I have a sneaky suspicion that your team just might be blessed.
