In 2009, the Tea Party was bursting onto the scene. We were pressuring Washington to hold true to our values of fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government. We were winning statewide elections in seats previously held by Democrats - including Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in the People's Republic of Massachusetts and the NJ Governor's office. Do you know what Barack Obama was doing in 2009? In addition to passing trillions of dollars of so-called stimulus spending and working hard to ram his unconstitutional healthcare scheme through Congress, Obama used his elitist Hollywood connections to throw a lavish Halloween party at the White House.

The party, co-hosted by Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, was so over the top that Obama made sure the press didn't cover it. It's only coming out now because a New York Times columnist is finally breaking the gag order.

This sort of disdain and disrespect for the Tea Party and our values is indicative of the entire Obama presidency. While we were protesting big government, he was adding more to the federal deficit than every President before him combined. While we were cleaning out Congress in the midterm elections, his Justice Department was running guns to Mexico under Operation Fast and Furious. And while we were advocating for government restraint and personal liberties, he has tacked regulation on top of regulation, strangling the economy and stunting job creation.

Whether his administration is a result of pure ineptitude or a radical ideological agenda designed to change the very fabric of our republic is immaterial. The Tea Party must defeat Barack Obama and his allies in Congress! We will be on the front lines in the battle over the heart and soul of America, and we cannot do it without the support of patriots just like you.

Holder is Operating DOJ as a Political Weapon‏

When we think about the single biggest failure of this Obama administration, it's easy to focus on ObamaCare, his radical Supreme Court nominees, or the $15 trillion federal deficit. But what may be the most dangerous legacy of Obama's presidency is the radicalization of the Department of Justice.

Under the so-called leadership of Eric Holder, the Justice Department has not only lied before Congress about the dangerous Fast and Furious gunrunning programming, it has systematically targeted states for redistricting and voter protections if they fall outside the radical agenda of the Obama administration.

With his lies before Congress and his use of the Justice Department as a political tool of the radical left, Eric Holder must be held accountable! Please sign our petition calling for a special prosecutor to investigate Holder for his crimes!

One of the most effective behaviors we have is the behavior of making ourselves aware of the travesty that is the current administration.  He has a radical vision for america that fundamentally changes it.

It has already been documented that he looks at our Constitution as a flawed document, and he is actively going around its restrictions and mandates.

We do not need a president that doesn't respect the very document that allowed him to be elected.

This presidency is going to go down in history as the worst ever.  You know how the name Benedict Arnold conjures a mental image?  Well, the name Obama is going to be the same way.

We let the fox in the hen house, and we have to get him out!

Liberals Line up in opposition of Tenessee as it counters Obama's March against the Constitution

With all the new hate crimes laws appearing across the country – led by Barack Obama’s federal plan that provides special protections for those who choose alternative sexual lifestyles – a family organization in Tennessee and several lawmakers there are proposing an amendment to the state’s anti-bullying law that would protect students’ First Amendment expressions of their religious or political views.
The media was outraged that such an idea even would be discussed.

“With God on their side: The Tennessee Pro-Bully Bill,” proclaimed the Huffington Post. Added CNN, “Critics say proposed Tenn. bill would enable harassment.” And from the Philadelphia Magazine came: “Bullying on Religious Grounds?”

The bill, being sponsored in this year’s legislature by Sen. Jim Tracy in the Senate and Rep. Vance Dennis in the state House, states the Tennessee anti-bullying restrictions “shall not be construed or interpreted to infringe upon the First Amendment rights of students and shall not prohibit their expression of religious, philosophical, or political views, provided, that such expression does not include a threat of physical harm to a student or damage to a student’s property.”

"Dear Daniel, "I refuse to take 'No' for an answer," President Obama fumed this week. He may as well have added, "Even when the answer is in the U.S. Constitution." This week, President Obama named three recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) -- in clear, unprecedented defiance of Congress and the Constitution. As you know, in the last two years the Obama Labor Board has repeatedly enacted one power grab after another on behalf of union bosses, to the detriment of the rights of individual employees -- especially those who wish to refrain from union activities. Union bosses know their coercive agenda is overwhelmingly unpopular with the American people, which is why they've turned to unelected administrative agencies like the NLRB to push through much of what they cannot get through Congress. With the presidential election less than a year away, Obama is desperate to ram through more sweetheart deals for Big Labor. But this latest power grab is especially dangerous. You see, Article II of the U.S. Constitution requires the President to obtain the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate for appointments to the most powerful positions in the executive branch. This crucial component of our system of checks and balances helps Congress hold the President accountable. The advice and consent clause allows the Senate to ensure that Presidential appointments to powerful executive positions are qualified and not beholden to special interests like Big Labor. The out-of-control Obama Labor Board shows why these checks and balances are so vital. The President may fill vacancies while Congress has recessed, but Obama's latest move even runs afoul of the rule cited by an Obama Administration lawyer at the U.S. Supreme Court in 2010 -- "the recess has to be longer than 3 days." That's why National Right to Work Foundation staff attorneys are exploring possible legal challenges to these unprecedented recess appointments. NPR Setting up Reason to Regulate Rental Pricing?

NPR, today, had a segment of their news broadcast explaining that landlords are finding themselves in the catbird seat:  able to increase rental rates in the current economy.  The report cited a very low figure of between  4% or 5% vacancy rate in rental properties.  This they said is because  people are not buying homes due to stringent credit requirements.  No one is lending.  


Furthermore, they  informed us that folks paying rent are now paying more than home-buyers pay. (I guess they mean per month.)

Keep the above in mind -A few minutes ago, I coincidentally ran across an article that made the case that Obama is in the process of  some serious vote buying by  the elimination (or restructuring) of mortgages through the use of a presidential or government panel’s magic wand.

Thumbs Down to Obama If he does this using his executive pen, or unaccountable-to-the-American- people-consumer-protection-czars, then what would stop him from regulating what landlords charge for rent?   Just think of the support he would get for violating the constitution.



After all, greedy landlords are bilking renters during these difficult times.  This seemed to be the NPR message.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that too many people don't understand the power grab he has just taken.  My problem with this  is not necessarily that he wants to regulate.  My problem is he wants to set precedent after precident for bypassing congress (the voice of the people).  


We are moving further and further away from individual liberty.  This is my problem:  Increasingly,   We the people are not being represented, we are being ruled.  Is this what you want?
